  • To verify your identity and prevent fraudulent activity.

UPNMG does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data may be shared only in these limited circumstances:

  • UPNMG Staff: Authorized staff access data solely to process requests and manage memberships.
  • Payroll: Financial deduction amounts may be shared with your employer's payroll department.
  • Legal: We may disclose information if required by Ghanaian law or a valid legal order.

  • Passwords are stored using secure one-way hashing — never in plain text.
  • All communication is protected using HTTPS encryption.
  • Authentication uses secure Bearer tokens with automatic expiry.
  • Accounts are protected by a unique PIN for sensitive operations.

5Data Retention

  • We retain your data for as long as your membership with UPNMG is active.
  • Financial and loan records are kept for a minimum of 7 years as required by Ghanaian financial regulations.
  • You may request deletion of non-financial personal data by contacting support.

  • Access: View your personal data under "My Profile" on the portal.
  • Correct: Update contact information through portal settings or by contacting support.

  • The UPNMG Portal uses browser local storage to maintain your login session securely.
